About Shirdi City

Shirdi is a small city that is located in Ahmednagar District in the state of Maharashtra. It is situated on the Ahmednagar to Manmad State Highway. Shirdi is popular as one of the most visited pilgrimage destination of India. This shrine is dedicated to the late 19th century saint Shri Sai Baba.


History of Shirdi
Shirdi was the abode of the great saint Sai Baba. As he lived in Shirdi for more than 50 years of his life and  developed this small town into a big pilgrimage spot for devotees who traveled from all over the world to visit this pilgrimage centre.


Sai Baba came to this village at the age of 16 and since then he dedicated his whole life for the poor and suffering people. The whole village has some association with Sai Baba. The great saint took his last breath in 1918 here and since then thousands of devotees visited this Shrine every year.

  • Daily Aarti schedule: Every day Aarti is held four times a day. Moring at Samadhi 4.30 am, afternoon, at sunset around 6.30pm and in last at night 10.30p.m.
  • Best time to visit Shirdi: You can visit Shirdi any time of the year. As it is one of the famous pilgrimage centres of India. Festivals like Vijayadashmi, Ramnavami, Gurupurnima and Muharram.

Shimla tour

Shimla

Shimla got its name from the Shyamala Devi, a personification of the goddess Kali. Whose temple existed in the thick forest during the early 19th century near Jakhu Hills.

This beautiful hill station is located in the North West side of Himalayas. It is the capital of Himachal Pradesh. During the time of British colonial rule it was also the summer capital in India. The English men named it Shimla.



It covers an area of 18 sq km at a height of 7,238 ft; above the sea level. It is surrounded by deodar, pine and oak forests. It’s has well developed amenities, you can reach easily and explore the tourist attractions, which makes this hill station one of the popular hill station of north India.

About Sikkim

Sikkim is the next smallest state of India. It was ruled by the kings’ an independent monarchy, which is known by Chogyals till 1975, until it joined the Indian union. It is situated near the borders of Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet and west Bengal. Most of the Himalayan range covers the state territory. It ranges between 300 meters to 8583 meters and the highest peak is Mt. Kanchendzonga. It is the third highest peak in the world; it is also worshipped as the guardian deity of the state. 


The oldest inhabitants of Sikkim are believed to be Lepchas. Then it is came the Bhutias from the Tibet then they followed by Nepalis and some peoples from Indian plains. Now it is home to the Mahayana from Buddhism and their colorful Gompas , due to their Buddhist Monasteries, they are the major attraction of Sikkim. Among them Tashiding & Pemayangste monasteries in West Sikkim and Rumtek monastery near Gangtok are the most important. Due to this lot of tourist visit Sikkim every year and it has gain the popularity in the field of tourism in India. Sikkim holiday package also got famous for the tourism of north India.

In Sikkim, Gangtok is the main city and also the state capital. It is a beautiful city with snow covered mountains. Wonderful gardens and not to forgot peaceful monasteries. • How to get accommodation: Generally people like to stay in Bhakta Nivas because the rates are very much reasonable compare to hotels in Shegaon. But sometimes it is hard to find place to stay in any of the Bhakta Nivas as it is so popular and less rated. So in that situation you can look for budget hotels in Shegaon to stay comfortably. • Do visit Anand Sagar: If you have planned to stay two three days in Shegaon then you can take a tour of Anand Sagar. It is the most famous place in Shegaon as it is popular among tourists. Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus, a Historic railway station in Mumbai



Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus is a railway station in Mumbai in Indian state of Maharashtra which serves as the headquarters of the Central Railways in Mumbai. This railway station is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a historical railway station located in Bori Bandar region of Mumbai.
CST was built in 1887 to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria and therefore this station is also known as Victoria Terminus designed by Fredrick Stevens which influences from Victorian Italianate Gothic Revival architecture and traditional Indian architecture. The skyline turrets, pointed arches and eccentric ground plans are very close to Indian Palace architecture. The CST was constructed using high level of Civil and railway engineering and this was the first and finest products of the use of Industrial revolution technology with Gothic style in India.  This station also stands as an example of 19th century railway architectural marvel.
