• Travel by Train: Travel to Shegaon with train as it is convenient and easy way to reach. From Shegaon railway station you can easily get a bus, Rickshaws or Tonga rickshaw, which are available 24 hours. Or you can also take sansthan buses are absolutely free but it waits till the bus is full. So it is better u take another mode of transportation to reach temple in early hours as we all are in rush to temple to attend Abhishek hours.

• Mode of local transportation: Normal rickshaws and Tonga Rickshaws cost around 12 to 20 rupees and you can always bargain in that and try and do.

• Best time to visit Shegaon: If you are planning to visit Shegaon then plan on odds days like Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday. As you will find less crowed compare to other days of the week and you can take darshan peaceful.

• How to get accommodation: Generally people like to stay in Bhakta Nivas because the rates are very much reasonable compare to hotels in Shegaon. But sometimes it is hard to find place to stay in any of the Bhakta Nivas as it is so popular and less rated. So in that situation you can look for budget hotels in Shegaon to stay comfortably. They are also good and provide good service to their guest.

• Do visit Anand Sagar: If you have planned to stay two three days in Shegaon then you can take a tour of Anand Sagar. It is the most famous place in Shegaon as it is popular among tourists. If at temple you have paid for annadan and have the receipt with you then you can use it at Anand Sagar-you will get a free entry. At least you will take full one day to explore Anand Sagar and don’t miss the toy train, dhyan sadan & aquarium. It has everything within it self, you don’t have seek out, not even for food.
